These terms cover your use of Airport Notes — the website and the mobile apps. By using Airport Notes you agree to them. We've kept this plain English on purpose.
Airport Notes is a community-curated directory for general aviation pilots. You may browse it and contribute to it for your own personal and professional flying use. Be decent: don't post anything unlawful, abusive, deliberately false, or that infringes someone else's rights.
The data in Airport Notes — FBO listings, fuel prices, fees, notes, and the community content that surrounds them — is provided for your direct use within the service. It is not a free dataset to extract and republish.
Normal browsing and the use of our published apps and interfaces are of course fine. The line is bulk extraction and redistribution. We monitor for it, and we reserve the right to block access and pursue any remedy available to us.
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Don't share your account or impersonate anyone. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You keep ownership of what you submit. By posting it, you grant Airport Notes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute it as part of the service. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to post what you post, and that it's accurate to the best of your knowledge. We may review, edit, or remove community content to maintain quality.
Airport Notes is an informational aid, not an official source and not a substitute for official aeronautical information. FBO details, fuel prices, fees, and notes are community-contributed and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Always verify operational details through official channels before every flight. You are the pilot in command; the responsibility for the safe conduct of your flight is yours alone.
Airport Notes is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information in it is accurate or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Airport Notes and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of — or reliance on — the service or its content.
We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms — including, in particular, anyone who scrapes or redistributes the data. You can stop using Airport Notes and delete your account at any time from your Profile page.
If we make material changes, we'll post a notice on the site. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
